About Sarah
Maven’s Principal Consultant, Sarah Andruchow possesses a unique depth of experience having collaborated with justice practitioners across Australia, Africa, Asia, Europe, North America and the Middle East.
Sarah has worked in criminal investigations for decades, specialising in countering terrorism and violent extremism, working alongside law enforcement professionals, allied practitioners, prosecutors, judges, policy makers, academics, and civil society organisations. Her analytical thinking and conceptual skills enable her to translate theory into practical solutions and tangible results.
She was also a Volunteer Zookeeper at Taronga Conservation Society for five years – it’s this versatility and drive that makes her a one-of-a-kind consultant in the industry.
English-speaking but equipped with a working knowledge of Arabic, Sarah possesses a high degree of cultural competency. She holds a Master of Criminology, Bachelor of Arts in Government, an Advanced Diploma of Public Safety and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. She has also held high-level security clearances.
Believing passionately in the framework of upholding human rights and fostering safer, more inclusive communities, Sarah moved into the consulting space to use her experience, insight and expertise to help organisations create safer, more inclusive communities.
